Job Summary

We are seeking a Retail Assistant to join our team at M&S Simply Food in Tamworth. As a Retail Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and providing a high-quality shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serving Customers
    • Provide timely and courteous service to customers, answering their queries and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Receiving Deliveries and Stock Replenishment
    • Receive and process deliveries of stock, ensuring that all items are accurately counted and stored in the correct location.
  • Providing Exceptional Customer Service
    • Offer advice and assistance to customers on products and services, ensuring that they have a positive shopping experience.
  • Maintaining Stock Levels
    • Replenish displays and fridges with stock, ensuring that all products are accurately priced and displayed.
  • Handling Customer Enquiries
    • Respond to customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly, ensuring that customers are satisfied with their shopping experience.
  • Operating Tills and Handling Cash
    • Operate tills and handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring that all sales are processed correctly.
  • Maintaining Standards
    • Maintain high standards of product quality and cleanliness, ensuring that the store is presented in a clean and tidy manner.
