GCSE English Lecturer Opportunity

Richmond College is seeking a dedicated and experienced GCSE English Lecturer to join their team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality GCSE English lessons to students, supporting their academic progress and preparing them for exams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teaching and Assessment: Deliver engaging and effective GCSE English lessons to students, ensuring they meet their academic potential.
  • Administrative Tasks: Complete administrative tasks related to teaching, including assessments, grading, and preparing materials.
  • Availability: Be available to cover additional classes when required, including during staff absences.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the teaching team to ensure a smooth and effective delivery of the curriculum.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications and Experience: Relevant teaching qualifications and experience in delivering GCSE English courses.
  • Curriculum Knowledge: Strong knowledge of the GCSE English curriculum and a proven ability to deliver engaging lessons.
  • Communication and Organisational Skills: Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage both teaching and administrative duties.
Additional Information:
  • Teaching Hours: Approximately 19 hours of teaching per week, with the remaining time paid at an administrative rate.
  • Temporary Ongoing Position: This is a temporary ongoing position, with the possibility of additional hours to cover staff absences.
