Financial Controller Opportunity

Join a well-established company in Swadlincote with a strong emphasis on team culture and staff retention. As a Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the costs, monthly reporting, budgeting, and business partnering for the manufacturing division.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and control production and manufacturing accounts
  • Prepare monthly management accounts
  • Prepare regular group reports, including monthly management accounts, cash reporting, and quarterly statutory consolidation
  • Work with site teams and the shared service department to review and understand monthly costs while improving reporting accuracy
  • Periodically visit job sites
  • Reconcile key balance sheet accounts
  • Prepare year-end accounts and group consolidation (IFRS)
  • Compliance activities: audit, tax, and statutory returns
  • Provide technical accounting guidance on UK/international GAAP
  • Support the Chief Financial Officer in preparing plans and forecasts
Requirements:

In this hands-on role, you will be the right-hand person for the CFO, who is keen to bring in someone confident, qualified, and experienced within manufacturing.
