About the Role

Axalta is seeking a highly skilled Reliability Maintenance Engineer Lead to join our team at our facility in the UK.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying potential problems or opportunities for improvement by analyzing data and identifying patterns within that data. Once problems have been identified, the reliability engineer will develop and implement solutions to prevent them, ultimately improving the reliability of systems, equipment, and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Analysis: Analyze equipment failure data to identify trends and patterns, and develop strategies to prevent future failures.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Conduct thorough root cause analysis to address underlying problems and develop effective solutions.

Requirements
  • Experience: Around 10 years of relevant work experience in a maintenance or engineering role.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the manufacturing of liquid coatings and technical knowledge of liquid coatings.
  • Communication Skills: Good communication skills, adaptability, and experience within the chemical industry.

  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to think critically and logically, with strong analytical skills.
  • Technical Aptitude: Strong understanding of systems, equipment, and processes, including knowledge of engineering principles and specific systems used at an organization.
