About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Catastrophic Injury Senior Associate to join a well-established insurance law firm in the UK. The firm is seeking a skilled professional with a strong background in handling complex, catastrophic, and large loss claims arising from RTA and EL/PL matters on behalf of their insurer clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle a broad and interesting caseload of complex claims valued from £100,000 to £5,000,000
  • Represent clients in catastrophic injury and large loss claims, including brain and spinal injuries, amputations, and fatalities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with insurer clients and other stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant laws and regulations, and apply this knowledge to provide expert advice and guidance

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years PQE in Catastrophic Injury and Large Loss
  • Proven experience in handling complex claims and providing expert advice
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
