Overview:
T&K Associates is currently seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector to support our client, a leading manufacturer of precast concrete solutions, on a Temporary to Permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Quality Inspector, your primary role will be to ensure that manufacturing teams produce products that meet established quality standards consistently. Your duties will include:

  • Conducting laboratory work, including the preparation and testing of concrete samples.
  • Verifying molds against provided specifications to ensure compliance.
  • Assessing reinforced steel work for adherence to technical drawings.
  • Completing all necessary documentation accurately and thoroughly.
  • Performing checks to confirm that products meet acceptable tolerances.
  • Ensuring proper labeling of products with quality assurance tags.
  • Carrying out repairs using the correct materials to meet required standards.
  • Executing random inspections on loads and fittings before dispatch.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace at all times.

Compensation and Benefits:
The position offers a starting salary of £460 per week, with potential increases to £558.40 per week upon permanent employment, including a weekly production bonus. Additional benefits include:

Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Strong mathematical skills with the ability to measure accurately using various tools.
  • Familiarity with measuring instruments such as verniers, calipers, and tapes.
  • Proficiency in IT.
  • Prior experience in a quality assurance role is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Clear and legible handwriting.
  • Attention to detail and strong communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage conflict and resolutions effectively.
  • Methodical and scientific approach to tasks.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated.
  • A collaborative team player.
