Electrical Testing Engineer Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Testing Engineer to join our team at RGE Services Ltd. As an Electrical Testing Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our electrical systems.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Carry out electrical maintenance, repairs, servicing, inspecting, and testing to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Diagnose and rectify faults in electrical systems, including identifying and addressing potential safety hazards.
  • Perform electrical remedial works, including repairs, replacements, and upgrades to electrical equipment and systems.
  • Undertake new electrical inspections to identify potential issues and recommend improvements.
  • Action reactive electrical works, including emergency lighting inspections and repairs, to ensure prompt resolution of electrical issues.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, promoting a positive external perception of our company and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Comply with company procedures and policies to ensure smooth delivery of our service, including adhering to our quality management system and recycling responsibly.
  • Produce high-quality reporting on time and to agreed standards, including documenting electrical work and maintenance activities.
Requirements:
  • UK Driving Licence (required)
  • Experience in electrical repair, maintenance, servicing & installations, preferably within the public sector
  • A sound knowledge of tools, equipment & materials common to the Electrical Trade
  • Current Trade Qualifications
  • Good communication skills, both verbal & written
  • The ability to interpret schematics and electrical drawings
  • IT literate
  • A commitment to great customer service
