Job Title: Learning Support Assistant - Creative Education

Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated and creative Learning Support Assistant to join our team in a SEND school in Upminster. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs, providing a unique and engaging learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students with SEND, ensuring their safety and ability to access learning activities and understand the information presented
  • Aid the execution of education plans suitable to each pupil's learning objectives
  • Build trusting relationships with students and communicate according to their understanding
  • Promote class interaction and ensure students engage throughout lessons
  • Create an interesting environment for students
  • Assist students with practical activities using a variety of teaching aids
  • Look after students' physical, social, and emotional welfare
Requirements:
  • Experience working with SEND or children
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • A passion for education and creating an environment where students can improve their studies
  • The ability to use your creative nature to engage students, improve confidence, and positively influence a fun and supportive learning process
