Position Overview:

Venesky-Brown is seeking a dedicated Environmental Protection Officer/Technical Assistant to join a public sector organization. This role offers an initial contract with competitive hourly rates and a hybrid working model, requiring at least two days in the office each week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the management of contaminated land, air quality, private water supplies, and the regulation of industrial activities.
  • Investigate complaints related to statutory nuisances and pollution-associated anti-social behavior.
  • Provide guidance to planning and licensing departments.
  • Conduct thorough inspections, address complaints, and implement necessary actions.
  • Prepare detailed reports and actively participate in relevant meetings.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a comparable position.
