Job Title: Private Client Tax Junior

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Private Client Tax Junior to join our team at TPF Recruitment, Surrey's leading accountancy practice recruitment agency.

Job Description:

A dynamic and forward-thinking independent accountancy practice is looking for a talented Part Qualified Tax Accountant to contribute to their tax department. As a Tax Accountant, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality tax services to clients and supporting the firm's modernisation efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review tax returns for individuals and partnerships, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients, identifying opportunities for tax savings and minimising tax liabilities.
  • Conduct research on tax issues and developments, and effectively communicate findings to clients and colleagues.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor on tax matters and providing proactive solutions to meet their needs.
  • Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and regulations, and communicate implications to clients and colleagues.
  • Collaborate with other members of the tax team and cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and enhance efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Studying towards your ATT, with ACA/ACCA considered if you're working in a tax capacity.
  • Solid understanding of tax principles, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Previous experience in tax compliance and advisory within a public accounting firm or tax consultancy.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
