We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior / Principal Consultant to join our Chemical and Response Training team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of our private sector work in the area of hazardous materials incident management.
The ideal candidate will have a background in dealing with and managing incidents, which could stem from an emergency services or military career or current roles in business continuity or incident management at related organisations (NHS Trusts, R&D Manufacturers, Chemical Sector). You will be responsible for delivering technical consultancy to organisations globally, which may require delivering high-quality training to large, diverse groups of delegates.
Key Responsibilities- Support capability development at private sector clients, both within the UK and overseas (may also include some public sector delivery).
- Support and/or lead consultancy projects delivered by internal and associate teams on behalf of clients.
- Provide input to plans supporting the growth of the area.
- Use an existing network or develop a network of key contacts to uncover new market requirements and develop courses based on market needs.
- Experience training and mentoring other team members.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience communicating complex or scientific information to a range of internal and/or external customers.
- Experience working with a range of customers, coupled with a strong commercial understanding.
- Experience working with the emergency services, or similar, as a responder or in a training delivery capacity.
- Knowledge/experience in working within a chemical or hazmat context.
