As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for driving and operating specialist jetting tankers and vacuum tankers to collect and dispose of controlled waste, while ensuring compliance with statutory health, safety, and environmental procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive and operate specialist jetting tankers and vacuum tankers to collect and dispose of controlled waste
  • Attend emergency call-out situations to deal with sewer blockages, flooding, and pollution
  • Undertake vehicle checks at the start and finish of each shift
  • Ensure that all jobs are documented correctly
  • Ensure that the conditions of all PPE remain fit for purpose
  • Be flexible in your approach to work and undertake ad-hoc duties when your vehicle is off the road or if you are required to assist other field teams
  • Attend training as and when required

Requirements:

  • Minimum Class 1 licence holder with CPC
  • Ability to take on responsibility of working within very controlled guidelines and environmental regulations
  • Flexible with working hours, including unsociable hours and various weekends
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
