Senior Accountant Opportunity

Butler Rose is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join their team. This is a consultative firm who pride themselves on nurturing strong client relationships and providing a personalized service.

Due to their growing client base, they are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant who can develop into the role and take on a portfolio of accounting clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare statutory accounts under FRS102 Section 1A and FRS105 for a diverse range of clients.
  • Prepare corporation tax and submit CT600's to the HMRC.
  • Experience in completing and submitting quarterly VAT returns.
  • Attend client meetings and liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients.
  • Effectively manage time to ensure work is completed within agreed time and budget.

Requirements:

  • At least 2+ years' experience working in a UK based accountancy practice.
  • ACA/ACCA studier who is ideally part qualified, although candidates at other stages of qualification will be considered.
  • Current knowledge of statutory accounting, corporation/personal tax and VAT.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships.
