As we grow, we are seeking a dedicated Nursery Manager to join our pioneering team at Ark Start Nurseries.
In this position, you will uphold the highest standards of physical, emotional, social, and intellectual care for all children entrusted to you.
Your responsibilities will include ensuring the safety and welfare of all children, while fostering an environment that encourages play, learning, and development.
We are particularly interested in candidates who possess a genuine enthusiasm for early childhood education and are keen to advance into leadership roles.
With the necessary skills, creativity, commitment, energy, and enthusiasm for leading educational practices, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our nursery.
Moreover, you will have the chance to extend learning beyond traditional settings, engaging in outdoor activities, cooking, and gardening.
- Encouraging young children to explore and learn about their surroundings through enjoyable games and activities.
- Fostering social awareness through interactions with peers.
- Ensuring that classrooms and outdoor play areas are safe and conducive to child-friendly experiences.
- Maintaining high standards of the nursery at all times for parents, staff, and visitors.
- Keeping accurate records of each child's development and learning journals, sharing this information with parents and guardians.
- Possessing a minimum Level 3 Diploma in Early Years Education and Care or an equivalent qualification.
- Having an understanding of child safety, recognizing safeguarding and welfare concerns, and knowing how to take appropriate action.

Compensation: £15 per hour for all roles. We also provide an 11% pension contribution.Professional Development:
