Exciting Opportunity for a Seasoned Sous Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Dish Hospitality. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for supporting the Executive Chef in managing the culinary operations of our prestigious hotel and country inn group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Executive Chef in planning and implementing menus, ensuring consistency and quality across all venues.
  • Manage kitchen staff, including training, development, and performance management.
  • Oversee food preparation, presentation, and service, ensuring exceptional standards are maintained.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop and implement new menu ideas, using local seasonal products to create innovative dishes.
  • Ensure effective inventory management, minimizing waste and optimizing stock levels.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high-end kitchen, preferably with a Rosette standard.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent culinary skills, with a passion for using local seasonal products.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
