Person Specification:

To excel as a Cover Supervisor, you will need:

  • Previous experience in a school setting is desirable but not essential.
  • A good standard of education, including GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade C or above).
  • Experience as a Cover Supervisor or a Teaching Assistant (Desired).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage groups of students and maintain a calm, authoritative presence.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to respond to varying classroom dynamics.
  • Organisational skills and the ability to follow lesson plans effectively.
  • Enthusiasm, resilience, and a passion for supporting young people in their learning journey.
