Job Title: Healthcare Assistant

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Healthcare Assistants. As a valued member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing personalized care and support to our service user.

About the Role:

This is a part-time position, with 2 shifts per week, offering a competitive pay rate and the opportunity to work with a pleasant teenage boy in Ormskirk. You will be responsible for providing essential care and support, including medication administration, personal care, and moving and handling.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality care and support to our service user
  • Administer medication as required
  • Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Support with moving and handling, including transfers and mobilization
  • Participate in playtime activities and engage with our service user in a fun and supportive way
Requirements:
  • 3 months previous care experience
  • Medication administration training
  • Personal care skills
  • Moving and handling training
  • Pet-friendly (our service user has a family pet dog)
