Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Academy Principal to lead our educational institution, the Grimsby Institute of Further and Higher Education, and its partner schools. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving academic excellence, fostering a positive learning environment, and promoting the growth and development of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement academic strategies to improve student outcomes and achievement
  • Lead and manage a team of educators and support staff to ensure high-quality teaching and learning
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote student well-being and safety
  • Build and maintain relationships with parents, carers, and the wider community to promote the institution's reputation and values
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure effective use of funds and allocation of resources

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Academy Principal or in a similar leadership role
  • Strong academic background and qualifications in education or a related field
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff and students
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to the development of the institution's strategic plan
