About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Age UK. As a key member of our store management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our stores and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations, including sales, customer service, and team management.
  • Lead a team of volunteers and staff to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Manage stock levels, maintain a clean and organized store environment, and ensure compliance with Age UK's policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to plan and execute visual merchandising displays and promotions.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a retail management role, with a strong track record of sales growth and customer service excellence.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and make informed decisions.
