About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Locum Consultant CAMHS Psychiatrist to join our team at Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, appraising, and providing professional supervision to junior medical staff, as well as participating in service and business planning activities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage and appraise junior medical staff, providing professional supervision and guidance as needed.
  2. Participate in service and business planning activities, contributing to the development of the CAMHS Eating Disorder Service.
  3. Attend and participate in academic programs, including lectures and seminars, to maintain professional development and stay up-to-date with best practices.
  4. Maintain professional registration with the General Medical Council and abide by professional codes of conduct.
Requirements
  • MB BS or equivalent medical qualification.
  • Experience of the full range of clinical responsibilities expected of a consultant in CAMHS/Eating disorder psychiatry.
  • Excellent clinical skills using bio-psycho-social perspective and wide medical knowledge.
  • Able to deliver undergraduate or postgraduate teaching and training.
