Location: Warrington

We are seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to join our team on a fixed-term basis at our Warrington Depot. This position offers a diverse range of responsibilities, primarily focused on auditing stock levels and documenting any discrepancies found within the warehouse and office settings.

As an Inventory Control Specialist, your responsibilities will include cross-referencing customer accounts, processing necessary credits, and verifying stock expiration dates. You will ensure adherence to SOX compliance while overseeing the complete management of customer returns and conducting live investigations on picking discrepancies. The primary working hours are Monday to Friday during the day, with the possibility of supporting an occasional Saturday shift, for which specialized training will be provided. Once you reach the required proficiency, Saturday shifts may be as infrequent as once every six weeks.

To be successful in this role, you should ideally possess experience in a similar capacity. You will be welcomed by a supportive stock team, and your success will hinge on your communication skills and your ability to foster strong working relationships with colleagues. Attention to detail is crucial for maintaining high accuracy levels, along with effective self-organization skills. Proficiency in IT and a willingness to learn new software are essential. Previous experience with FLT trucks is advantageous, though training can be provided by our in-house team if necessary. Above all, a customer-centric approach and a readiness to learn are vital attributes.
