Job Summary:

The Leeds United Foundation is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to assist the flag American Football programme in targeted areas of Leeds. As a Project Lead Coach, you will be responsible for managing project sessions, engaging with community leaders, and developing relationships with local community groups and organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project sessions on a weekly basis, ensuring sessions are adaptive and well-participated, and all data is liaised with the project lead.
  • Act as the project's point of contact for the targeted area, working in collaboration with the NFL and 49ers, providing progress updates as required over the duration of the project.
  • Facilitate and manage relationships with local community leaders, developing new local relationships with community groups and organizations.
  • Work in collaboration with the project lead for the targeted area's requirements and needs.
  • Ensure all project sessions are fit to the community's needs and are enjoyable and professional.

Requirements:

  • Hold a minimum FA level 2 or UEFA C Qualification.
  • A flexible approach to working hours, including evening and weekend work.
  • Experience of community engagement, links into communities, and knowledge of networks linked to local communities.
  • Previous experience of managing multiple pieces of work or projects to successful conclusions.
  • Experience of working at a local level with community organizations.
  • Multi Sports Level 2 Qualification.
  • Some knowledge of sport development and sport physical activity infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of the American Football game.
