We are seeking a highly skilled Senior UX Designer to join our UX Team at AJ Bell. As a Senior UX Designer, you will play a key role in shaping our overall design strategy, influencing decision-making at senior levels, and leading the strategic planning of design initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design leadership: Help lead the strategic planning of design initiatives, aligning design efforts with broader business goals.
  • Creativity: Develop and deliver innovative design solutions that meet user needs and business objectives.
  • Design Systems: Create and maintain components in a Figma library, contributing to the development of our new design guidelines and component libraries.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with executive and cross-functional teams to build and nurture team collaboration.
  • Decision making: Make informed and strategic decisions in the design process, balancing user needs, business considerations, and creative goals.
  • Research: Design and oversee comprehensive usability testing processes, utilizing both quantitative and qualitative methodologies.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate design ideas, rationales, and strategies clearly and persuasively to various audiences.
  • Advocacy: Advocate for UX in the wider business, identifying opportunities to showcase UX through blog posts, presentations, and workshops.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, contributing to their growth and development.
