Job Title: Permanent Property Lawyer

We are seeking a talented and experienced Permanent Property Lawyer to join our team at Battens Solicitors Limited.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Permanent Property Lawyer to take on a challenging and rewarding role within our Property Dispute Resolution team. As a Permanent Property Lawyer, you will be responsible for advising clients on a wide range of property disputes, including residential and commercial landlord and tenant matters, boundary disputes, and rights of way.

You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of cases, including:

  • Residential landlord and tenant disputes, including possessions, disrepair, and deposit disputes
  • Commercial landlord and tenant disputes, including dilapidations, forfeiture, and lease renewals
  • Boundary disputes, including accessibility and land disputes
  • Rights of way and rights to light
  • Adverse possession
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in property dispute resolution, preferably within a law firm
  • 2 years' post-qualification experience (PQE)
  • Strong client-handling skills and the ability to instil client confidence
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and the ability to multitask and manage time efficiently
  • Tenacity and determination to accomplish tasks within deadlines
