We are excited to present an opportunity for a dedicated Chef de Partie to become a vital part of a prestigious culinary establishment, known for its exceptional cuisine and inviting atmosphere. This family-run restaurant is situated in the picturesque region of Yorkshire, offering not only a beautiful setting but also a commitment to high-quality, wholesome dishes.

Key Responsibilities of the Chef De Partie:

  • Prepare and cook menu items daily, ensuring each dish is executed to the highest standards in line with company guidelines.
  • Work collaboratively with the Executive Chef and kitchen team to propose seasonal menu ideas that highlight quality and local ingredients.
  • Oversee a designated section of the kitchen, managing all aspects from preparation to cooking and presentation.
  • Maintain hygiene and cleanliness standards in the kitchen, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Assist in managing kitchen inventory, ensuring supplies are well-stocked and stored appropriately.
  • Support the training and development of junior kitchen staff as needed.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • A strong passion for culinary arts and a desire to expand knowledge of diverse cuisines.
  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie in a comparable setting, showcasing proficiency in high-quality culinary operations.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring every dish meets the restaurant's exacting standards.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team, demonstrating enthusiasm and collaboration in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Competence in managing a kitchen section, guiding junior staff, and maintaining workflow during busy periods.
  • A proactive approach to all tasks, whether in dish creation or routine kitchen responsibilities.
