About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Paediatric Consultant to join our dynamic team at NELFT NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and their families.

As a Paediatric Consultant, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive medical care to young patients. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, therapists, and social workers, to deliver holistic and patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide range of paediatric conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
  • Conduct thorough medical histories and physical examinations.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures.
  • Advise on preventive health measures and promote healthy child development.
  • Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and compassionate individual with a strong commitment to providing exceptional paediatric care. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Full GMC registration with a licence to practice.
  • CCT or equivalent in Paediatrics.
  • Section 12 Approval or eligibility for it.
  • Approved Clinician status, or eligibility for it.
  • Inclusion in, or eligibility for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining CCST.
