Compensation:
We offer a competitive salary of up to £29,000, along with a potential occupancy bonus paid termly. This position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week across 5 days.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the manager and step in during their absence.
  • Support the nursery's objectives and aid in creating a high-quality environment for children aged 2 to 5 years.
  • Lead a team of professionals, ensuring best practices are consistently followed.
  • Help plan and organize staffing schedules and holiday rotas to maintain adequate staffing levels in line with local authority guidelines.
  • Contribute to staff development and training initiatives.
  • Be adaptable and support other nurseries in the event of managerial absences, ensuring the safety and care of all children.

Qualifications Required:
  • A full and relevant Level 3 childcare qualification or higher
  • At least 2 years of experience managing a team, such as a room leader or third in charge
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a nursery setting
