Locum Optometrist - Responsibilities

  • Serve an affluent clientele

  • Have the option to use either a phoropter or trial frame
  • Conduct 45-minute patient consultations
  • No involvement in contact lens fittings
  • Receive full support from Dispensing Opticians
  • Utilize Optix practice management software
  • Availability for alternate weekdays
  • Competitive locum compensation ranging from £325 to £365, with Saturdays compensated as a full day

Locum Optometrist - Qualifications

  • Must be a registered Optometrist with the General Optical Council
  • Willingness to commit to regular working days
  • Exhibit confidence in clinical practice
  • Possess a caring demeanor with a commitment to exceeding patient expectations
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
