Join Our Team as a Marine Engineer

Babcock International is a leading provider of naval ship design and building services. We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Engineer to join our team.

About the Role:

  • Author and review marine designs through calculations, simulations, commissioning, and diagnostic test support.
  • Contribute to and lead product development throughout the design lifecycle.
  • Provide technical support to key customers, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of engineering outputs.
  • Act as Technical Authority and have deep subject knowledge of an aspect of marine engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and production of substantiation reports for marine solutions throughout the entire design lifecycle phases.
  • Provide solutions to manufacturing and installation issues by assisting in the resolution of technical and production queries.

Requirements:

  • Experience with appropriate analytical software such as stability software (Paramarine, NAPA, FORAN, Maxsurf), FEA, CFD and/or CAD.
  • Degree qualified or HND/HNC level qualification in an engineering discipline with extensive experience in relevant field.
