Key Responsibilities
● Assume complete creative responsibility for features that will engage vast audiences
● Convert design challenges into user flows, animations, wireframes, prototypes, or high-fidelity designs.
● Consider optimal information architecture
● Oversee the entire design process from gathering inspiration to producing pixel-perfect UI for all scenarios and delivering to development
● Organize your file assets effectively on Miro, within PRDs, and in online storage
● Collaborate with written PRDs and share your work for constructive feedback
● Develop fun, intelligent, playful, intuitive, and cohesive designs for new features
● Directly implement your designs into Unity - a necessity
Essential Qualifications
● Minimum of 5 years of experience in UI/UX and interactive design - specifically in gaming
● Proficiency in Photoshop.
● Experience with Unity and the ability to implement your designs independently of developer assistance
● Strong artistic skills, creativity, design, illustration, color theory, composition, and conceptual ideation capabilities.
● Comfortable working in a remote setting
● Detail-oriented with a focus on pixel-perfect execution
● Team-oriented: You are reliable and accountable, assist others when possible, possess strong and positive communication skills, and are open to giving and receiving feedback
● Passionate about gaming
Preferred Qualifications
● Previous experience as an Art Director or in similar creative leadership roles
● Strong 2D art skills and/or character design experience
