Job Type: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £11.44 per hour
Expected Hours: 25 per week
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Food Service Assistant to join our team at Crawley College. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to students, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Serving a range of food and beverages to customers
- General cleaning of the kitchen and food prep areas
- Making coffees and other beverages
- Putting away deliveries and stock rotating using the FIFO method
- Food preparation and presentation
- Till operating and cash handling
- Working as part of a team to ensure the smooth operation of the outlet
- Ensuring front and back of house are kept clean and tidy
- Stocking up counters and ensuring serveries are clean and presentable at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but full training will be given to the right candidate
- Food safety knowledge is an advantage
- Excellent customer service skills
- Enhanced DBS check required

- Part-time hours, Monday to Friday, with shifts ranging between 7.30am and 3pm
