Job Opportunity: Accounts Payable Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our dynamic Accounts team as an Accounts Payable Specialist. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate invoice processing, account reconciliation, and meeting departmental deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and prepare invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with VAT regulations.
  • Manage and resolve supplier account queries, providing excellent customer service.
  • Reconcile supplier statements monthly, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Maintain and update supplier accounts, ensuring up-to-date information.
  • Support the team in keeping accounts accurate and up-to-date, ensuring timely completion of tasks.

Requirements:

  • GCSEs A-C in relevant subjects.
  • Proven experience in purchase ledger and accounts payable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
