Specialist Practice Nurse Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Practice Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team at Military Medical Personnel. As a Specialist Practice Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our medical centres.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and flexible individual to work in a dynamic and supportive environment. As a Specialist Practice Nurse, you will be responsible for providing professional and personal care to service personnel and their families, working alongside military personnel on Army, Royal Navy, and Royal Air Force bases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care, adhering to the highest standards of clinical practice and patient safety.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support to patients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and guidelines.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures to ensure best practice.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse (Adult) Level 1 with Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration and a valid, in-date Personal Identification Number (PIN).
  • Current, valid personal medical indemnity insurance.
  • Minimum of two years post-registration experience in PHC practice.
  • Minimum of one year's post-registration experience in a Band 6 or higher grade in a Primary Healthcare (PHC) setting within the last three years.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS), Anaphylaxis, Automated External Defibrillator (AED), Infection Prevention and Control (IPC), and Safeguarding Children and Young People and Vulnerable Adults Level 2 training.
