Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a high-performing agile team of software developers and QA engineers, providing guidance, support, and career development for team members.
  • Technical Direction: Take ownership of the technical direction of the team, working closely with architects to ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Delivery Management: Partner with product managers to balance new product development, operational excellence, and defects, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software.
  • Team Development: Embed a team-first mindset, encouraging individuals to work together, share knowledge, and support one another to achieve a sustainable pace of delivery.
  • Performance Management: Conduct performance reviews, set goals, and provide feedback to help team members improve and succeed.
  • Recruitment: Recruit new team members and ensure a smooth onboarding process.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: Proven experience of leading agile teams, managing and coaching team members.
  • Technical Expertise: Demonstrable understanding of modern software engineering and quality assurance best practices, with experience in C#.NET or JavaScript development.
  • Metrics-Driven Approach: Experience of using metrics to drive delivery and improvement.
