Join our team as a Senior Survey Project Coordinator. In this pivotal role, you will report directly to the AUV Manager and be instrumental in delivering exceptional survey support to both our internal teams and external clients. Your contributions will be vital in advancing and refining our in-house survey capabilities.
This position is primarily onshore, with opportunities for brief offshore assignments as necessary. Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering ongoing survey assistance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Evaluating scopes of work for survey and inspection projects, crafting method statements, specifications, technical qualifications, drawings, and other essential technical inputs for commercial proposals.
- Ensuring adherence to all survey-related activities in accordance with internal QHSE protocols.
- Formulating project procedures and quality plans aligned with internal standards.
- Supporting the development of standard operating procedures, integration documentation processes, and quality plans.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within surveying. Familiarity with AUV operations is advantageous.
- A Bachelor's degree in surveying, geomatics, marine science, oceanography, or a related discipline is preferred. Candidates with certifications or specialized training in subsea surveying will also be considered.
- Expertise in operating surveying instruments and equipment, including multibeam sonars, subsea positioning systems (USBL, LBL), side-scan sonars, ROV sensors, and subsea navigation software.
- Proficient in data processing and analysis, with significant experience using Eiva NaviSuite packages. Familiarity with managing survey data through GIS software and a solid understanding of networking and sensor integration is essential.
- A comprehensive understanding of subsea systems and infrastructure, such as pipelines, cables, platforms, and other subsea structures. Knowledge of various subsea survey methodologies is crucial for effective survey planning and execution. Experience with AUV mission planning is a plus.
