About the Role
The Bournemouth Film School at AUB is seeking an accomplished film practitioner with experience in teaching Editing (AVID) in Higher Education to teach primarily on our vibrant BA (Hons) Film Production course and occasionally on our MA Film Practice course.
The successful applicant will have a track record in film production and significant experience teaching picture editing and other aspects of post-production. Detailed knowledge of post-production software will include AVID Media Composer (preferably an AVID Certified Trainer) and DaVinci Resolve. We are looking for someone with experience of collaborating on student productions and assisting on, and/or leading academic units. You will be a student-focused team player with strong and effective communication skills.
Requirements
The successful candidate will hold a Master's degree in a relevant subject and a teaching qualification and/or Higher Education Academy (HEA) Fellow Membership.
