This role presents an excellent chance for candidates currently in a Finance Manager position or those looking to take on new challenges. As a Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day accounting activities, preparing monthly management accounts, budgeting and forecasting, monitoring cash flow, and managing a small team.
To be considered for this position, you will have experience working as an Accountant or Finance Manager in an SME environment. Our client is offering a competitive salary and benefits package.
The Opportunity- Oversee the ongoing maintenance of day-to-day accounting activities
- Supervise a small accounts team
- Prepare monthly management accounts
- Ensure payroll is accurate and records are maintained
- Support management in the accurate production of budgets
- Reconcile accounts, including receivable and payable
- Ensure cash flow is utilized properly and protect reserves
- Audit financial information for inconsistencies
- Provide tax planning strategies in accordance with existing legislation
- Create financial forecasts and analyze risk
- Experienced Accountant/Finance Manager
- Experience of working in an SME or similar environment
- Ability to work to deadlines with high levels of accuracy
- Excellent communication skills
- Good Microsoft Excel skills
