Position Overview

As an Asset Reliability Specialist, you will be integral to one of the foremost chemical production companies, dedicated to delivering innovative and sustainable solutions that tackle global material challenges across various sectors, including Automotive, Aviation, Medical, and Electronics. Your contributions will help in creating smarter and more sustainable manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough research and analysis of existing plant machinery performance and losses, contributing to the enhancement of Asset Availability to achieve Operational Efficiency targets.
  • Provide guidance and support to operational teams, analyzing data to recommend best practices, identify opportunities for performance enhancement, and propose long-term, cost-effective solutions.
  • Develop and implement systems, procedures, and methodologies aimed at maximizing asset availability, participating in failure investigations, leading Root Cause Analysis, and driving change to prevent recurrence.
  • Perform Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) on current assets, identifying vulnerabilities in strategies and seeking opportunities to mitigate potential failures.
  • Engage in the design and installation phases of new asset projects, ensuring alignment with the existing Asset Management Strategy and enhancing the current Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) approach with a focus on Predictive Maintenance (PdM).

Qualifications:

  • A degree in an Engineering discipline, preferably in Mechanical Engineering.
  • A multi-disciplinary engineering background encompassing electrical, control, instrumentation, and mechanical systems, with a preference for experience in Chemical Manufacturing or a related field.
  • Exposure to project management and familiarity with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), FMECA, Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM), Predictive Maintenance (PdM), and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) techniques.
  • Proficiency in change management and continuous improvement methodologies is highly desirable.
