About the Role

We are in search of new Family Support Specialists for our Family Safeguarding Team.

As part of our transformation initiative, you will contribute to enhancing the safeguarding of children, with full support and training provided.


The service utilizes a Family Safeguarding model that emphasizes a strengths-based approach and incorporates motivational interviewing techniques.

Our teams are multidisciplinary, consisting of social workers, family support practitioners, and specialists in adult services.

The adult specialists focus on assisting parents and caregivers facing complex challenges related to domestic abuse, mental health, and substance misuse.

Our teams engage in monthly group supervision and maintain their records in a structured workbook. Interventions are centered around a Family Programme comprising seven modules, enabling us to work in a purposeful and transparent manner.
