Technical SEO Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical SEO Manager to join our team at Tech Alchemy Ltd. As a key member of our product team, you will be responsible for enhancing the search engine performance of multiple web projects.

The Opportunity

As a Technical SEO Manager, you will develop and implement technical SEO strategies to improve the organic search rankings of our websites. You will conduct regular site audits, identify issues, and provide actionable recommendations to improve search engine rankings. You will also collaborate closely with our development team to ensure that our projects are optimised for search engines.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement technical SEO strategies for websites built with Angular, React, NextJS, NodeJS, and WordPress.
  2. Perform thorough SEO audits, identify issues, and provide actionable recommendations to improve search engine rankings.
  3. Review website code and provide detailed instructions to developers on how to improve SEO, including optimising HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other elements.
  4. Optimise website architecture, URL structures, internal linking, and page load speeds.
  5. Ensure websites are properly indexed by search engines and that sitemaps and other essential SEO elements are in place.
  6. Collaborate with the development team to implement SEO best practices during the development stages.
  7. Monitor website performance using SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.
  8. Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, search engine algorithm updates, and best practices.
  9. Provide regular reports on SEO performance, including metrics such as traffic, rankings, and conversion rates.
  10. Troubleshoot SEO issues on live websites and provide quick, effective solutions.

Requirements

  1. Proven experience as a Technical SEO Specialist or similar role.
  2. Strong understanding of web development frameworks, particularly Angular, React, NextJS, NodeJS, and WordPress.
  3. Experience with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, etc.
  4. Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and how they impact SEO.
  5. Experience with server-side rendering (SSR) and client-side rendering (CSR) for SEO benefits.
  6. Ability to analyse and review website code and provide actionable SEO recommendations to developers.
  7. Ability to analyse data and provide insights based on SEO metrics.
