Heavy Plant Engineer Job Description

Are you a skilled engineer with a background in heavy plant maintenance? We're seeking a talented and experienced Field Service Engineer to join our dynamic team at Human Engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on plant equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, implementing timely and effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to schedule and execute service activities, minimizing downtime and maximizing crane uptime.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to customers and onsite personnel, ensuring proper operation and maintenance practices.
  • Maintain accurate records of service activities, including work orders, inspection reports, and equipment documentation.

Requirements:

  • NQV Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Engineering discipline.
  • Experience working with heavy equipment in a field service capacity.
  • Knowledge of heavy equipment/mining systems, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
