Join Our Team as a Finance Business Partner

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finance Business Partner to join our team at Abacus Professional Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing financial support and guidance to our clients.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in finance, with experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. You will be responsible for providing financial guidance to our clients, as well as analyzing financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide financial guidance to clients on financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to improve client performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in finance
Requirements
  • Relevant undergraduate degree (2:1 classification or above preferred)
  • Newly Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent)
  • Experience in a finance role
  • Expert knowledge of general accounting principles
  • Knowledge and experience of financial systems (SAP preferred)
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills with the ability to present to senior management
  • Personable, friendly approach
  • Flexible, well-organized, and able to deal with various stakeholders confidently
  • Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to understand and interpret data
  • Demonstrable ability to develop relations across different parts of the business
  • Willingness to learn new things and an ability and desire to drive initiatives forward
  • Ability to work under own initiative
  • Analytical mind, comfortable with numbers
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Good team player
