About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pupil Support Worker to join our team at Belmont Secondary School. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the emotional and academic needs of our pupils.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to pupils with complex Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) needs
  • Assist with lesson planning and preparation, including creating learning materials and running classroom activities
  • Supervise pupils during indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring their safety and well-being
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive school environment, promoting social skills and emotional intelligence
