Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Internal Controls Specialist to join our team at Insight Recruitment Solutions Limited. As an Internal Controls Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our client's risk and control oversight functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting Delegated Authority and other teams: Provide effective risk and control oversight to ensure the client's risk management framework is robust and compliant.
  • Delivering the risk-based monitoring plan: Collaborate with the team to develop and implement a risk-based monitoring plan that identifies and mitigates potential risks.
  • Maintaining the DA Internal Control Framework: Ensure the internal control framework is up-to-date and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Performing quality control checks: Conduct quality control checks on due diligence, peer review, and implement improvements to ensure the highest standards of quality.
  • Supporting regular reviews: Assist in regular reviews of the regulatory environment to ensure the client remains compliant.
  • Undertaking and reporting trends and analysis: Conduct analysis and reporting on trends and quality assurance, and internal controls to inform business decisions.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of the Lloyd's market: Possess a deep understanding of the Lloyd's market and its regulatory requirements.
  • Risk/Compliance/Controls experience: Have experience in risk management, compliance, and internal controls.
  • Quality Assurance experience: Experience in quality assurance performance would be beneficial.
