The Role

As a Logistics Administrator, you will play a key role in customer order management, delivery coordination, and inventory control. You will work within the purchasing team, maintaining accurate purchase order and warranty records, acting as a key point of contact between suppliers and customers, ensuring timely delivery updates, and following up with suppliers for crucial information.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate and schedule customer deliveries
  2. Request and confirm order acknowledgements from suppliers/manufacturers
  3. Follow up on orders with suppliers/manufacturers
  4. Manage order changes and updates
  5. Process and advance warranty claims with suppliers/manufacturers on behalf of customers
  6. Serve as the primary contact for warranties, customer enquiries, and order updates
  7. Inform customers about incoming stock or potential delays through email or phone
  8. Process customer payments
  9. Handle a variety of administrative tasks

Requirements:

  1. Strong attention to detail
  2. Experience in planning, logistics, or a similar role
  3. Superior written and verbal communication skills
  4. Effective organisational abilities
  5. Ability to manage time and workloads efficiently
  6. Confident and proactive approach to work
  7. Proficiency in IT systems
