We are seeking a highly skilled and flexible Tube Operator to join our team at Greencore Group Ltd. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the efficiency of our tubular heat exchangers and associated equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Set up tubular heat exchangers for line start-up and perform product changeovers, including caustic washouts as necessary.
- Manage metal detector reject waste and ensure proper disposal.
- Collaborate with the engineering and electrical departments to resolve technical issues and improve line performance.
- Monitor cooking processes, make adjustments as needed, and ensure adherence to product quality standards.
- Complete relevant documentation and sign off on product waste.
- Assist the Area Process Leader in improving line efficiencies through interpretation of production plans and knowledge of product, equipment, planning, and manning.
- Report faults to the engineering department using Mainsaver software and resolve minor issues, mechanical and procedural.
- Experience working in a food manufacturing environment is advantageous.
- Knowledge of tubes and numeracy skills to follow problem-solving and production plans.
- Ability to liaise effectively with team members, supervisors, and managers.
- Flexibility, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills.
- HACCP knowledge and understanding of processes and product quality standards.
