Job Summary

This role is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Structural Engineer to join our team in the UK and Ireland. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering high-quality structural engineering solutions for a range of projects, including commercial and residential developments and infrastructure schemes.

You will work closely with our experienced team of engineers and project managers to ensure that all designs meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and sustainability. Your expertise will be essential in developing innovative and cost-effective solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver high-quality structural engineering solutions for a range of projects, including commercial and residential developments and infrastructure schemes.
  • Work closely with the project team to ensure that all designs meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and sustainability.
  • Develop innovative and cost-effective solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure that all aspects of the project are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Conduct site inspections and checks to ensure that all construction work is carried out in accordance with the design specifications.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating any risks or issues that may arise.
  • Assist in the preparation of tender documents and presentations for clients.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2.1 degree or Masters in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Experience in the field of structural and/or civil works is desirable but not essential for this position.
  • Proven technical knowledge of design in steel and reinforced concrete works and proven ability to use relevant software.
  • Experienced and confident with report writing and presentation skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and outside agencies and build effective working relationships.
  • Adheres to all Codes of Practice, Design Standards and Health and Safety Regulations.
  • Represent and promote Ayesa in a professional manner.
