Quantity Surveyor Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team at ITS (Southampton) Ltd. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a Quantity Surveyor on Housing projects and be keen to progress their career.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collate and issue tender packs for sub-contractor work packages
  • Negotiate and analyze sub-contractor tender returns
  • Produce tender analysis for sub-contractor work packages
  • Complete sub-contract orders and variations
  • Manage sub-contract payments, variations, and final accounts
  • Complete monthly CVRs and cost reporting
  • Cost reporting and budget control
  • Attend site project meetings
  • Lead projects with HA, including preparing and issuing monthly HA valuations, cash flow forecasts, and key date trackers
Requirements:
  • Experience working within the Construction Industry as a Quantity Surveyor
  • Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor working for a Main Contractor or Residential Developer on housing/industrial projects
Training and Progression Opportunities:

Future opportunities to progress into a Senior Quantity Surveyor position

Where a range of rate of pay is quoted, the level of experience, qualifications, and related training required is the minimum required to qualify for the lowest rate of pay quoted.
