Painter and Decorator Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Painter and Decorator to join our team at Minstrell Engineering. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out all aspects of painting and decorating of client's premises, both internal and external, to a high level of proficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To carry out a full range of preparatory works, including preparing surfaces with appropriate methods, repairing cracks, and using sealants and fillers as required.
  • To undertake any decorative works required to deliver a quality finish to buildings and their components, including painting techniques, stains, lacquers, enamel, oil, varnish, metal, and fire-resistant coating.
  • To wallpaper to a good standard and finish.
  • To have experience of damp and mould.
  • To have a clean UK driving license.
Requirements:
  • High level of proficiency in painting and decorating.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
