Job Purpose

Job Responsibilities
- Assemble and test components according to TechnipFMC standards, applying and enhancing foundational skills in procedures, techniques, tools, materials, and equipment.
- Complete necessary testing documentation, including test reports, failure reports, and Non-Conformance Reports (NCR).
- Ensure cleanliness of components post-assembly in accordance with TechnipFMC guidelines and verbal or written instructions.
- Record labor details in the time tracking system and allocate time to relevant projects.
- Engage in Lean initiatives with active participation in Continuous Improvement System Projects (CISP).
- Utilize material handling equipment to transport parts and components between work or storage areas as needed.
- Conduct all tasks safely while maintaining awareness of potential hazards in the work environment. Uphold excellent housekeeping standards in the workspace.
- Learn procedures and prioritize safety to prepare for advancement.
- Assist fellow assemblers in more complex tasks as part of training.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of formal education, provided the candidate successfully completes an aptitude and reading comprehension assessment during the pre-employment process.
- Must demonstrate a solid understanding of basic mathematics and possess the ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English. Capability to interpret engineering and welding drawings is essential.
- Proficiency in using personal computers and/or workstations is required.
- A minimum of two years of mechanical experience is necessary.
- Ability to operate High Torque Wrenches, Overhead Cranes, Jib Cranes, Forklifts, and Rigging. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments such as tapes, rulers, and pressure gauges is expected.
